One word……Metal.

What is your Favorite place to shred, climb…?
Ocotillo Raceway, the dunes, and Mammoth mountain.

Where is your favorite place to kick back, relax, and forget about everything?
My crib in Zona!!!!

At what age did you begin your sport?
15…Just in high school.

What was your worst sport related injury, and how did you get it?
I shattered my ankle and have several pieces of metal holding it together..I got it by going huge at Pinal.

What was your biggest influence that got you where you are now?
Knowing I wanted to be my own boss…. My time, my rules.

What pisses you off?
People who don’t pay attention, spodes and smack talkers.

If you could initiate a change in your field, what would it be and who would you want to influence?
I would like to initiate a program for young ones on how to represent themselves the way a professional does….Good atttitudes go a long way!!

In what ways has the popularity of extreme sports changed the way you operate?
Hasn’t changed my operation at all…Im a leader, not a follower!!!!!

As the popularity of your sport grows, are there any issues for newcomers that, as an experienced professional, you feel need to be addressed?
Nope.

What types of actions and attitudes are going to effect your sport in positive ways?
Make sure you do your homework before you go huge…That’s how people get hurt, is do to lack of experience…Practice makes perfect…It takes years to be really on top of ones game.

There must be some negative issues surrounding your sport (i.e. safety, land management). What sticks out in your mind, and do you have any suggestions to control or minimize these circumstances?
Bad attitudes…I know competition fuels the fire, however what good is it if its no fun? That’s the whole idea…make it fun first.

What do you see in your future, and the where would you like to see your sport be at in 5 to 10 years?
I see more motocross becoming mainstream….not as much as nascar because its pure band wagon!! However peoples' eyes will open to any extreme sport eventually.

If you could relate one idea to the world, related to your sport or not, what would it be?
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present!
